Today, State Representative Mike Armanini announced the upcoming Disability and Senior Resource Expo. The event is organized in partnership with Life and Independence for Today (LIFT) and will take place on Tuesday, July 22, from 9 a.m. to noon at Elk County Catholic High School in St. Marys.

“Events like this senior expo are a great way to share some of the many resources available to our community,” stated Armanini. He emphasized that many seniors and individuals with disabilities may not be aware of the resources available to them. “Hosting these expos allows us to inform the community of what is available to them. I would like to thank LIFT; the Pennsylvania Aging and Disability Resource Centers, known as PA Link; and the Area Transportation Authority of North Central Pennsylvania (ATA) for their support and sponsorship of this event.”

Attendees will have access to various screenings such as balance, gambling disorder, grip strength, and hearing assessments. Additionally, veterans can register for the state’s veteran registry to stay informed about programs and services available.

For inquiries related to this event or any state government issue, constituents are encouraged to contact Armanini’s district office in St Marys at 814-781-6301 or his DuBois office at 814-375-4688.
