Today, State Representative Mike Armanini announced the unanimous passage of his legislation from the House Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee. The bill aims to make Pennsylvania’s outdoor activities more accessible for military personnel and their families. According to Rep. Armanini, “will provide a 15% discount to all active duty, retired and disabled military personnel and their immediate family on activity fees and charges at our state parks.”

Armanini expressed his satisfaction with the committee’s decision, stating, “I think this is a great way to honor these soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines who give so much so we can be safe. I am happy to see my bill pass unanimously out of committee.” The next step for House Bill 1342 is a vote in the House chamber.
