Bridge to be Named for Fallen Vietnam War Veteran

Act 17 of 2023 has officially designated the bridge on Pa. Route 3049 (Curtin Street) over Moshannon Creek as the Lance Cpl. Michael P. Segich Memorial Bridge. This honor serves as a tribute to the fallen Vietnam War veteran.

The event to commemorate this renaming will take place at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 3. The ceremony will be attended by various dignitaries including Rep. Dallas Kephart, Rep. Scott Conklin, members of the Osceola Mills VFW Post 5020, and PennDOT District 2 Executive Director Tom Prestash.

For those planning to attend the event, the location is at Osceola Mills Park, with parking available across the street from CNB Bank. To facilitate navigation, the address for GPS purposes is 611 Lingle St., Osceola Mills.
