Kephart signs petition to push voter ID legislation in Pennsylvania
State Rep. Dallas Kephart — Pennsylvania 73rd Legislative District

State Rep. Dallas Kephart (R-Clearfield/Cambria) has signed a discharge resolution petition to mandate the consideration of legislation that would place voter ID on the ballot for Pennsylvania voters.

Despite a bipartisan majority of House members supporting voter ID last year, the current majority leader has not permitted the issue to advance to a final vote in the House. The discharge petition aims to compel the House chamber to address the matter, overriding the majority leader’s objections.

Inquiries regarding this or any other legislative issue can be directed to Kephart’s Clearfield district office at 814-765-0609, his Hastings office at 814-247-6210, or his Osceola Mills office at 814-339-6544.
