The Pennsylvania Broadband Development Authority has announced the allocation of several grants aimed at enhancing high-speed internet access in Cambria County. This initiative was disclosed by Senator Wayne Langerholc, Jr., representing the 35th District.

“In the digital age, internet connection has become a necessity to access many essential services,” stated Langerholc. He emphasized that “the funding from these grants will help bolster high-speed internet accessibility in our community by aiding in the establishment of broadband-equipped community centers and expanding access to information, education, healthcare and more.”

These grants are part of efforts funded through the federally supported Multi-Purpose Community Facilities Program.
