Senator Wayne Langerholc, Jr. announced a state grant of $638,000 for transportation improvements in Lorain Borough, Cambria County. The funding will be used to replace the Highland Drive Bridge and make roadway improvements along Green Valley Street.

“Bridge replacements and road improvements are vital to the strength and functionality of infrastructure, yet they come at a significant cost. I am pleased to announce this state assistance to help Lorain Borough fund this important work,” said Langerholc.

The Commonwealth Financing Authority awarded the grant through its Multimodal Transportation Fund, which aims to support projects that ensure safe and reliable transportation systems for Pennsylvania residents.
