Cost of college went up for all students at Clearfield County Career and Technology Center

Tuition and fees rose 3.2 percent for 2018-19 at Clearfield County Career and Technology Center, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Pennsylvania students paid $16,250 to attend the public school this year – $500 more than the $15,750 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 77 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 24 students received grants or scholarships totaling $125,533 and 25 students took out student loans totaling more than $178,830.

Including all undergraduates (61), 48 students used grants or scholarships totaling $223,321, and 44 students took out $282,011 in federal student loans.
