Cost of college went up for all students at Pennsylvania State University-Penn State DuBois

In-state tuition and fees rose 0.5 percent for 2018-19 at Pennsylvania State University-Penn State DuBois, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Pennsylvania residents paid $13,702 to attend the four-year public institution this year – $70 more than the $13,632 charged for 2017-18.

Non-residents paid 59.7 percent more than residents this year, or $21,886. Their price tag grew 2.9 percent from $21,266 in 2017-18.

About 94 percent of the school's undergraduate population are Pennsylvania residents. About 5 percent are residents of other states and 1 percent are citizens of other countries.

Data shows 93 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 104 students received grants or scholarships totaling $682,008 and 90 students took out student loans totaling more than $643,511.

Including all undergraduates (564), 522 students used grants or scholarships totaling $2.8 million, and 335 students took out $2.2 million in federal student loans.
