Pennsylvania State University-Penn State DuBois issued the following announcement on Aug. 17.
The 12th Annual Penn State DuBois Golf Benefit is planned for Friday, September 10, 2021 at the Silver Golf Course in Treasure Lake, DuBois. There is still time to sign up teams for this four-person scramble. Registration and lunch will begin at 11:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 1:00 p.m.
This event is hosted by the DuBois Educational Foundation. A hole-in-one contest is sponsored by Spitzer Auto World. Additional skill prizes will also be awarded. Lunch, greens fee, cart, beverages, and eligibility for all prizes and team awards are included in the registration fee of $400 per four-person team, and $100 per individual. All proceeds directly benefit Penn State DuBois varsity athletic programs.
Sponsorship opportunities are also available, including a $500 Business sponsorship comprised of registration for a foursome, sponsorship of a hole on the course, cart sponsorship, and program advertising. The hole sponsor option for $100 gets a business or individual’s name on a sign at a hole on the golf course.
