Pennsylvania State University-Penn State DuBois issued the following announcement on Feb. 23.
The Penn State DuBois women's basketball team closed out its season with an 80-65 loss against Penn State Beaver on Monday, Feb. 21, in the quarterfinals of the PSUAC Championship Tournament.
DuBois kept the game within reach with its energy and hustle plays all night, and even made a quick surge in the third quarter to close the gap, but the comeback ultimately fell short.
Lexey Shick finished the night with 20 points to lead her team for the final time. Tara Hinderliter added 19 points, while Emiley Wheeler dropped in 13 points for the cause.
