Lock Haven University issued the following announcement on Mar. 22.
Lock Haven University will host the event, "Let Her Voice Be Heard," in honor of Women's History Month. The event will take place from 6:30-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 24 in the Willis Health Professions Greenberg Auditorium, room 105.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will include live readings, an announcement of the President's Award for Distinguished Work in the Advancement of Women's Issues nominees and the winners of the Virginia Martin Gender Issues Essay Contest.
Refreshments will be served. The event is sponsored by the English Club, the HOPE Center, the President's Commission on the Status of Women, Sigma Tau Delta and the Women and Gender Studies program.
