Lock Haven University recently issued the following announcement.
Lock Haven University English faculty member, Dr. Robert Myers, will be the guest speaker at the Spring Book Talk at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 12 at LHU's Stevenson Library. The event will be held on the ground floor in the children's library where Myers will discuss his book, "Reconciling Nature: Literary Representations of the Natural, 1876-1945."

Myers will explain how classic American novels embodied the tensions embedded in American views of the natural world, from the Centennial until the end of World War II.
The event is free and open to the public and light refreshments will be served.
