Digital Skills Ready at 50+

The Mid-State Literacy partnered with AARP to implement their new program “Digital Skills Ready at 50+”. The program is focused on helping adults over the age of 50 learn basic computer skills to help them gain employment, start a business, stay safe online, and more!  On Tuesday, March 7th at 11:00 AM, Mid-State Literacy is holding a free lecture at the Holt Memorial Library called “Protecting Your Personal Information Online.”  In this lecture, participants will learn how to make strong passwords, how to identify scams and phishing attempts, how to shop safely online, and more! The lecture is open to anyone over the age of 50 and snacks/refreshments will be provided.
