On December 12, 2023, the state champion cross country and volleyball teams from Elk County Catholic (ECC) were honored at the state Capitol in Harrisburg. The teams were hosted by Rep. Mike Armanini, who represents the Elk/Clearfield area.

During their visit, the teams had the opportunity to take a brief tour of the Capitol building. Following the tour, they were recognized on the House floor for their outstanding achievements.
