Dubois Area Catholic School issued the following announcement.
DuBois Central Catholic Elementary Principal, Carol Bernat has picked the school’s last group of ‘FAB FIVE’ students for 2020.
Winners for the months of Nov./Dec. are Gianna Sachs, Emily Blochberger, Katie Hoover, Adam Lydick and Venetia Suplizio
Each month five students are chosen to be the “Fab Five”. The elementary faculty nominate students who consistently show respect, responsibility, reverence, consideration in class, on the playground, at lunch and complete homework on time, along with any other trait that makes for a great student! The children’s grades may be considered but need not be the only thing.
All of the names are placed in a bucket. Five names are selected the last week of each month. A photo of the principal and the “Fab Five” is taken and placed in the elementary lobby. The Nov./Dec. “Fab Five” winners will be receiving ice cream from The Meadows.
