State Representative Mike Armanini has announced that the 75th Legislative District will receive $900,000 from the Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) through the HOME Investment Partnerships Program. This funding is intended to support affordable housing initiatives.

"This funding marks an investment in our community to increase and preserve the supply of housing available to our low-income families," said Armanini. "I am happy to share and support this funding for our district to rehabilitate existing affordable housing."

The funds have been allocated to Clearfield County and Elk County for specific projects. Clearfield County will receive $500,000 for the rehabilitation of four owner-occupied homes in DuBois and Sandy Township. Elk County is set to receive $400,000 for the rehabilitation of eight owner-occupied homes.

The HOME program receives its funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, which is then distributed by DCED.

For further inquiries regarding this initiative or other state government issues, individuals can contact Armanini’s St Marys district office at 814-781-6301 or his DuBois office at 814-375-4688.
