State Rep. Dallas Kephart | Pennsylvania 73rd Legislative District

State Representative Dallas Kephart has announced the allocation of over $500,000 in grants to support fire and emergency medical services in communities within the 73rd Legislative District. These funds are intended for projects such as facility construction or renovation, equipment purchase or repair, training, and debt reduction.

Kephart emphasized the importance of these grants, stating, "These grants support our local first responders, without whom our communities would look vastly different. This funding will help our local companies continue their great work and upgrade service in and around the 73rd District."

The Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency and Office of the State Fire Commissioner administer these grants. All applicants who meet the specified requirements receive funding.

The list of grant recipients includes BJW Volunteer Fire Co., Carrolltown Fire Co., Clearfield Emergency Medical Services Inc., among others, with amounts ranging from approximately $12,000 to over $50,000.

For further inquiries about this announcement or other legislative matters, constituents can contact Kephart's offices in Clearfield, Hastings, or Osceola Mills.
