Senator Wayne Langerholc, Jr. and Representative Mike Armanini have announced the approval of state funding to support an infrastructure project in Grampian Borough. The community will receive $300,000 for improvements on 6th Street in Clearfield County.

The funds will be used for stormwater management and paving, addressing critical needs in the area. "Stormwater management is essential for maintaining infrastructure, keeping water away from roadways and reducing the risk of flooding," stated Langerholc. He emphasized the financial burden such projects can impose on local communities and expressed satisfaction with securing state assistance.

Armanini highlighted the significance of these grants for local development. "Grants like this provide a vital boost to our local communities, enabling them to make much-needed improvements that directly impact the quality of life for residents," he said. Armanini noted that these investments are crucial for enhancing infrastructure and addressing public safety concerns.

The Commonwealth Financing Authority awarded the grant through its Multimodal Transportation Fund, which aims to maintain a safe transportation system across Pennsylvania.
