State Representative Mike Armanini (R-Elk/Clearfield) has formally recognized the retirement of Cecilia Bienkowski, who has served in the Elk County Assistance Office for 34 years. Rep. Armanini presented her with a citation from the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to honor her dedication and contributions to the community.

Bienkowski began her career as an administrative assistant and advanced to the position of income maintenance caseworker after nine years. The Elk County Assistance Office, based in Ridgway, offers various social services and assistance programs, providing support to individuals and families in need, including food assistance, healthcare programs, and financial aid.

"I’d like to thank Cecilia for her long-time service to Elk County," said Armanini. "She has been a tremendous asset to our community, and we will miss her wealth of knowledge and the professional manner in which she approached her work."
