Fall Cleanup 2022

The Borough of Clearfield will once again be providing curbside leaf collection throughout the Borough according to the following schedule:  

WEST SIDE OF THE RIVER (Recycling zone #1) will be collected during the following weeks:

October 10

October 24

November 7

EAST SIDE OF THE RIVER (Recycling zone #3) will be collected during the following weeks:

October 17

October 31

November 14

Leaves are to be raked or put in biodegradable paper bags and/or cardboard boxes and placed between the sidewalk and the curb.  Under no circumstances are leaves to be raked into the street.  Please contact the Borough Office if you are located on a One Way Street.  

Residents are reminded that leaf collection with the LeafVac was designed for the right of way, not entire yards.  The curbside cleanup is not to be used by contractors.  

Absolutely no dumping will be permitted at the Borough Garage on Power Ave.  Residents can utilize the compost site at 21st Street.  

Compost is available for local residents.  

We offer residential curbside recycling for aluminum cans, bimetallic cans, and most clear, green, and brown glass.  Pick up is schedule for the first and third Tuesday of the month for Clearfield Borough Residents.  Contact the Borough Office to be sure that your recycling is picked up.  Recycling can also be brought to the Borough Garage on Power Ave.  Please follow all posted signage, and do no dispose of garbage at the recycling center.  

Commercial establishments located in the Borough are independently required to recycle items set forth by the recycling ordinance.  A copy of this ordinance my be obtained at the Clearfield Borough Administration office.  

There will be no Christmas tree pick up.
